Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The position represents key business units in the simplification and standardization of clinical affiliation contracting processes. The role requires strong partnering with legal, clinical, and academic stakeholders to drive clinical partnership development through a skillful handling of all contract processing.

Responsibilities

  • Manages hiring, training, scheduling, and performance of all contract specialists.
  • Identifies opportunities to standardize processes to reduce cost, improve service, achieve consistency, and improve colleague productivity while maintaining high levels of quality.
  • Manages multiple projects according to plan, monitors, and reports progress to ensure that required work is delivered on time.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and escalation point for clinical contracts and insurance.
  • Ensures that policies are updated regularly to ensure adherence to local and state regulations and federal requirements.
  • Ensures that direct reports work together to support the experiential learning team and create partnerships with hospitals, healthcare clinics, and other sites that host students in their clinical practice area.
  • Meticulous record-keeping and documentation of legal requirements and recommendations.
  • Contract negotiation experience is required.
  • Development of job aids, PPT presentations, training other departments, and support experience are required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 5+ years years of experience in academic or healthcare contracts Required and
  • Microsoft Suite experience required Required and
  • Salesforce b2b experience preferred Preferred and
  • Must be considered a Subject Matter Expert for their represented area.
  • Must demonstrate a comfort level with contract processing, negotiation and agreement terms/conditions.
  • Special Skills: facilitation, negotiation, training
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision and direction.
Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $59923.09 and $108334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
