WE BELIEVE IN THE TRANSFORMATIONAL POWER OF COMFORT
This role will assist in the offloading, receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of products in a warehouse environment. Daily tasks involve bar code scan applications that record receipt, and status changes to inventory. Timely and efficient completion of job duties are critical in this position as well as safely operating industrial power equipment such as a forklift and cherry picker.
Job Description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Receive freight and stock freight
* Pull and prepare furniture for delivery company
SCOPE & IMPACT:
Being on time for morning huddles and engaging in idea generation. Attention to detail during the prep process to insure first time delivery completion. The ability to correctly scan daily inventory produce accuracy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* 0-2 years in work related experience, or equivalent
* High school diploma or GED
* Previous warehouse experience
* Be able to lift up to (50) lbs
* Work comfortably with established standard operating procedures
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
* Lift experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a warehouse environment and uses standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, order pickers
