Description
Join our team at the Immunogenetics Center as a Laboratory Technician 2, where you'll play a vital role in client services. Your primary duties will include:
* Answer incoming calls and address service problems, requests for patient and/or client information for clinical reports. * Prepare and send supplies to clients, including inventory management and ordering of all client supplies and department supplies. * Identify specimen types, reviewing labels/orders, and ensuring volume stability of specimens. * Receive and accession client specimens. * Perform specimen processing related to clinical testing using laboratory equipment. * Monitor and facilitate the internal routing of specimens, requisitions, and reports. * Perform data entry in LIS and maintaining inventory of supplies. * Handle administrative tasks such as printing, scanning, faxing, and filing reports. Salary Range: $32.77 - $43.22/hour Qualifications
* High School diploma or equivalent (e.g. HiSET or GED).
* At least 2 years of customer service experience in a clinical laboratory setting. * Outstanding customer service skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs. * Superb time management and organizational skills. |
